Public Notary s/n°
"In a world that has really been turned on its head, truth is a moment of falsehood." - Guy Debord.
To achieve truth, justice and peace in the world, we must first acknowledge the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family. The Public Notary s/n° is a movable project that can be inserted into different situations to remind us, through simple and ironic actions, of the Articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
of the Public Notary s/n°:
- On September 27, 2009 in Oaxaca de Juárez, as part of a march for Women's Empowerment, the C. Holder Gabriela León and the stenographer Ms. Isabel Rojas distributed the Acts of Titularidad del Cuerpo to more than one hundred applicants, with emphases on the Articles 1, 2, 3, 4, and 17 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
- On November 28, 2009, as part of the Cultural Festival of the Defense of the Río Verde in San Antonio Río Verde, Tututepec, 157 Acts were given to attendees in order to encourage commitment, respect and protection of the Tono, Tona or Tonalli (a mythical creature that serves as nature's twin to humanity) to encourage environmental awareness and protection of our native landscapes.
- The Public Notary s/n° will continue with the dissemination of the Articles in any public situation wherein the presence of a document without legal value that reminds of a fundamental Human Right becomes an irony.
