This painting has been many colors and her right arm has been painting, reaching up, reaching down, attached and not attached. I couldn't resolve the painting until I detached the arm again. My paintings slowly reveal themselves to me... sometimes, real slow.I never know what my paintings are about until I have a conversation with at least one person about them.

I thought this was a painting about me falling apart, but a friend and psychologist read the painting differently. She felt that it represents a woman with courage. She needs to go out and explore, float free with ideas, different perspectives, but she always has her female touchstones (male and female) to keep her from going to far.
