I attempted to make a painting of a man, but soon found out I couldn't do that. I don't know what it feels like to be a man, so I couldn't even begin painting one.
So I painted the woman right on top of the man, choosing to leave his flexed muscles on her smaller frame. I left them in because they reminded of the strength we women must find in ourselves every day, whether because we choose to or because we're forced to by our circumstances.
