Laughter

This poem came to me while one day sitting in the garden I was hit with the realization that I didn't laugh much anymore. Each of us has probably felt the same (at some point in their lives) in their struggle to survive and forget living in the process.

Laughter, who do you come after?
Daughter of water,
You are really naughter,
Naughtier and naughter,
Who do you come after?

Laughter, who do you come after?
Daughter of water,
You are the laughter,
Lighter and laughter,
Light year and laughter
Who do you come after?

Laughter, who do you come after?
You are the daughter,
Daughter of water,
What do I need, I need a place
To hang the daughters
Daughters of water,
On the wall of my corners
Walls and corners,
Windows and ceilings,
Carpets and feelings,
Feelings and healings,
Healings and peeling
Paint on the ceiling,
Buying and dyeing
And make it shine,
Shine like a stone
And don't you moan
Laughter will come after
Daughter of water
lotter and lotter
lighter and light year
Faster and faster,
Darker and daughter
Daughter of water
Laughter! Who do you come after?
