Sometimes materials can inspire; sometimes a space restriction or infinite space can challenge, and at times, music can give you unprecedented ideas. I was lucky that all of these came together to give me Vine Woman.

Vine Woman wove herself into my mind one night while I listened to a young composer Jeff Stanek play his piece Winding Leaves. The following day, I immediately got materials for an armature and started collecting vines and branches. A few days and some sore hands later, Vine Woman was placed on a nature trail for all to enjoy. Eventually, however, she will return back to nature.
