Photo and my opion of living in Nevada
I am preparing for an exhibit of Nevada: City Lights to Campfire. at the Northeastern Nevada Museum.
As I was thinking of all the wonderful things that have happened to me living in Nevada it occured to me that those little stone with all the right sentiments written on them seemed to say all the right things. I have lived in Elko, Nevada since 1989 and this photo just reflected my life.

I shot this photo in my backyard. I wanted the rocks with the words to reflect the landscape of the Nevada land. The feel of the warm colors in constrast to the cool rocks just blends to what it feels like to live in the high desert of Nevada.
