The experience of creating a life in the womb is an exclusive privilege of being female. To be conscious that there is a spirit, a beating heart, a body, a human being developing inside yourself is nothing short of divine.

The connection with the Goddess is spectacular. To me it was a very special moment and I felt the urge to register it. Oddly enough, the resulting image can almost be compared to a fossil--so rupestrian. I can imagine paleolithic women doing the same.
