Jesse, this clip has seriously disturbed me. The men you've interviewed are nothing less than sleaze-balls, if I can be so crass. I cannot believe that women and girls' perceptions of body image rest in their grimy hands. Ugh! The images of mannequin body parts on assembly lines are positively haunting! If your goal was to leave an impact with this documentary (which I assume it was) then hats off to you, the director. Well done.

I can see the connection between religious iconography and mannequins in that they are both forms of idolatry and both are employed as a means by which powerful institutions regulate the behavior of those they subjugate. First world capitalism is certainly a form of fundamentalism as much as any religion, and these mannequins are the fetishes of the consumerist cult.
