Sense of Compassion and Sense of Awareness are two mixed media pieces in my Five Senses Series. I completed them in 2007, using gouache, ink, spray paint and a particle board as materials.

The one thing I obsess over most the most is the concept of "freedom." What constitutes freedom? Self confidence? Independence? Who/what determines how "free" we are?
