Sobre mí
Lenelle Moïse is an award-winning poet, playwright and performance artist. She creates intimate, fiery, politicized texts that explore the intersection of race, class, gender, sexuality and culture. She regularly performs at universities across the United States and is currently touring her autobiographical one-woman show "Womb-Words, Thirsting." A recipient of the Astraea Lesbian Writers Fund Award in Poetry and the James Baldwin Memorial Award in Playwriting, her work is featured in a number of anthologies, including: “Word Warriors: 35 Women Leaders in the Spoken Word Revolution” (Seal Press). Lenelle scats in the shower, collects colorful ribbons and makes collages. She is the fifth Poet Laureate of Northampton, MA. http://www.lenellemoise.com
