i am a freelance journalist/writer/poet, author of THE WIND OF MY SAILS and UNSPOKEN WHISPERS; in the heart of love. I am a stay home mom of three, and i am now living in the United states. My Home country is zambia, but I also call wherever I have lived, home, because my friends become family. Among them is South Africa, Germany, Hong Kong and now United States NJ. According to sources dating back as far as 3000BC, women have governed for centuries--but it wasn't until the 1960s that the first woman was elected; Sirimavo Bandaranaike of Sri Lanka became the first elected female Prime Minister in 1960. In the last several decades, women have made enormous advancements in personal independence--be it career or politics--and have broke the boundaries society had set for them.
