As the vice president for exhibitions and programs at the International Museum of Women, I am thrilled to welcome you to the museum and to our global online exhibitions. A women's rights activist for over 15 years, Masum Momaya brings together her skills and experience as a researcher, educator and social justice advocate to curate Economica and Women, Power and Politics. Aside from her work with I.M.O.W., Masum writes a weekly column for the Association for Women's Rights in Development (AWID), is part of organizing the feminist media community and recently served on the board of the Third Wave Foundation. Dedicated to bringing together theory and practice in accessible and effective ways, she has an honors bachelors degree from Stanford University in Public Policy and Feminist Studies and a masters in education and doctorate in Human Development, both from Harvard University.

I.M.O.W. Global Council member Mary Robinson argues that a time of economic crisis is a perfect opportunity for improving labor conditions for workers across the world--men and women alike. Previously, Robinson worked as the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, and served as the president of Ireland. Robinson currently heads up Realizing Rights: The Ethical Globalization Initiative.
