The Women’s Art Museum Society of Canada was established to build a national museum in Canada that would collect Canadian women’s visual artworks and preserve them. The Society’s mandate is also to educate the public as to the value of women’s art and artistic vision.

WAM promotes women’s achievement in the visual arts, as well as, promotes the building of bridges geared towards collaborative efforts. We support women’s initiatives across the globe in order that we may educate the public of the value in the lives of women.
