Is a first generation Russian-Jewish immigrant from Moscow. She has grown up in the sunny, eclectic SF Bay Area, which she's happy to call home. She received her B.A. at Santa Clara University in 2006 in the Art History and Communication majors, with a minor in Spanish. By the fall of 2006 she completed an internship at the San Jose Museum of Art, where she was to create a gallery guide for the 2007 show, "Family Legacies: The Art of Betye, Lezley and Allison Saar." During these months, Masha also assisted in organizing participation for a concurrent show, called, "We Are Family: Artist Families at SJMA," a first-of-its-kind non-juried community show for the museum. From January of 2007 Masha has been a volunteer at the GLBT Historical Society, located in San Francisco. She created a guide for the institution's Artifacts series of the Ephemera Collection and assisted in the preparation and installation of the politically and socially significant "Out Ranks" exhibit. Masha continues to participate at the GLBT Historical Society as as a member of the Women’s Committee, curatorial and programs volunteer.

In her free time Masha enjoys practicing martial arts, reading, spending quality time with her partner, and traveling.

I pursue work in the fields of museums and art history, promoting women's and lgbt stories and visibility. Currently, I work to create exposure for women artists locally and abroad at I.M.O.W. and love every minute of it!
