Waheeda Mallulah is a young Bahraini artist currently working as a graphic designer at the University of Bahrain. She has taken part in a number of exhibitions in Bahrain and most recently presented her work in the collective exhibition “Contemporary Curves” at the Al Riwaq Gallery. In 2005 Waheeda Mallulah attended a residency in Cairo, Egypt, where she produced and presented her work to an international audience. She has been invited to return for a major exhibition at the Townhouse Gallery of contemporary art.
