I live in New York City where I work and volunteer with foundations studying peace and conflict resolution. I also work in the art world and am drawn to this particular realm by observing how creativity can bring about transformation and healing.
I am a photographer, voice-over artist, writer and mostly a knowledge junkie. I teach myself on many different subjects and I am considering returning to school again to further educate myself in areas I previously did not.
Exhibit change by:
I suppose first by examining myself and my own actions and ventures in life and making sure I stay aligned with what I believe in wish to share with others.
Secondly I have volunteered for years in Africa and other developing countries working with foundations to promote peace and reconciliation efforts amongst post-war torn countries. As well, I use my photography, painting and writing to speak for me and to reveal the vulnerability inside of me which I truly believe we all feel in our lives. I believe one's vulnerability can be a great source of strength and I admire anyone willing to stand up and show this side of themselves.
I'm passionate about:
I am deeply passionate about the cause and concerns of Global Genocides. To me, this is the most heinous act against humanity that exists. My own spiritual belief is such I need not align myself with any particular religion to see with my own eyes that we are all here for a reason and each and every one of us, no matter our culture or beliefs has a place here on earth and a purpose in life. To wipe out entire populations because they don't suit you or you have some prejudice is ever so reprehensible to me.
I devote much of my time to learning and working with foundations around issues of peace and reconciliation.
I am passionate about all types of creativity and how art shows itself in so many forms and how I have seen it bring about healing and well being in the lives of many.
I am so, so passionate about photography and writing.
I am deeply passionate about the human condition with all of it's beautiful ways and flaws so I like to study it and learn from behaviors, that which lies beneath the surface.
