I am currently a distinguished lecturer at the Baruch College School of Public Affairs, which is part of the City University of New York. I teach nonprofit and public leadership and management, resource mobilization, organized philanthropy, and global corporate citizenship, among other topics.

This year, I am marking my 50th year in the nonprofit sector. I ave worked on an extensive number of social justice movements, starting with the cvil rights and antiwar movement in the 1960's

I'm passionate about:

Women' s and LGBT empowerment; asset-building in low-income communities in the USA and in sub-Saharan Africa; international citizenship.
