About me:

I am a professional photographer and videographer currently based in San Francisco. I was born in Ireland and moved to California in 1995 after graduating from college in France.
In August 2001 I became an American citizen and now hold dual citizenship of Ireland and the United States. I am a member of the American Society of Media Photographers and participate regularly in the local photographic community. I have travelled extensively for my work (21 countries) and have also exhibited in San Francisco, New York and Colorado. I have been published both here and abroad and clients include Monocle magazine, The Center for Biological Diversity, San Francisco Magazine and the Sierra Club.

My home and office and are located in the Mission district of San Francisco one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the city.

Exhibit change by:

In late 2008 I decided that I was going to start focusing my work more on the issues I feel passionate about in the hope that I could draw more attention to them. So far it has been a truly rewarding experience for me knowing that more of my energy is being spent in this way. I feel it is better for my soul, my community and my world.

I'm passionate about:

I am passionate about exploration, the wilderness, climate and social justice. My love of nature and curiosity for wild places brings me in touch with some of the most epic, fragile natural environments on earth. I am trying to use my work as a way to help draw attention to the value of these places and the need to conserve them. My love for the natural environment is also inextricably linked to human stories of struggle and triumph.
