About me:
I am a Kashmiri scholar, journalist and former civil servant. I have started an online magazine called Kashmir Lit.
It is an endeavor to support Kashmiri and diaspora writers or those interested to write about Kashmir by:
--providing a worldplace platform to share their writing
-- creating awareness of Kashmiri writing and cause --generating an academic resource on all things Kashmiri
--garner support from people interested in Kashmir and Kashmiri writing
--creating opportunities through virtual and real-life workshops, classes and online interactions

She explains the complicated history of the region and delves into the serious issues regarding Kashmiris' general disenchantment with electoral politics, women's near invisibility in leadership positions, women's political kinships, rigging, and the Kashmiri struggle for self-determination.
