A spokesperson for life and creative catalyst, I’m devoted to support women’s visibility, voice and value in this world, and believe that by us taking full responsibility for who we are, how we feel, think and act, we not only get to experience immense freedom and powerful self-expression, but also create real change in our lives and world.
I thrive in the cross-pollinating crucible of art, spirituality, science, entrepreneurship, heart and play, and gladly offer my liberating presence and creative instigation to exciting collaborations.
The past eight years I've worked intimately with women's relationship to their body, sexuality and power through photographic explorations. I created Lolo's Boudoir as a sacred space for women to transform their self-relationship.
Based upon this work and my own journey of truth, power and the sacred, as told in my memoir Seeing Red, I was inspired to create the online program Liberate Your Life, to support women in stepping more fully into their leadership and authentic expression.
I received my degree in Politics and Change from Aalborg University and was a development associate with Care International in Nepal. I moved on to be the team manager and coach for the innovative business school KaosPilot University in San Francisco. Love kept me in San Francisco and I dove into storytelling, producing short films for Unicef, the Natural Step, California Conservation Core and curating art installations in public places. A NLP-practitioner, I’ve trained with Jalaja Bonheim in Sacred Circle Leadership and with Ariel Spilsbury in the 13 Archetypes of the Goddess.
An established fine art photographer, my work has been shown in galleries and featured by InStyle Magazine, 7x7, Photographers Magazine, San Francisco Chronicle, Examiner, Untapped Cities, etc.
My essays have been published in Huffington Post, San Francisco Chronicle and numerous Danish and Nepalese magazines as well as anthologies such as Nothing But The Truth So Help Me God (ABOW 2012).
Currently, I'm at work on a project based on my photography and women's stories around body, sexuality, power and intimate liberation. I hope to use this to weave a bigger global story around these issues.
I offer Sacred Sessions, photography and workshops to catalyze and support women in liberating their life and leadership, inside out, through creative and cultural exploration.
I'm based in Sausalito, California, but the world is my oyster.
