KinderUSA is celebrating a decade of giving with its 10th Anniversary Fundraising Banquet Dinner at Long Beach Hilton on May 5, 2012.
KinderUSA was founded a decade ago by Dr. Laila Al-Marayati and a group of concerned humanitarians and physicians. Since then, KinderUSA has become a leading American Muslim charity organization, impacting the well-being of over 600,000 children and their families through health development and emergency relief.
Proceeds raised will support KinderUSA’s year-long projects:
• Women’s Cooperative provides mothers in the West Bank and Gaza who are heads of household with skills to prepare and market their own cheese and dairy products used in our annual Ramadan food baskets and further for the nourishment of the community
• Farmer’s Project in Gaza, now mirrored by larger NGO’s, provides impoverished farmers with the ability to work their lands and feed their children, as well as providing nutritious fresh foods to families
KinderUSA is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization. Among KinderUSA’s partners are United Nations Relief and Work Agency (UNRWA), Save the Children, and War Child International.
Join us in welcoming this year’s keynote speaker, Norman Finkelstein, for an evening sure to inspire and make a difference in the lives of children.
