Picturing Power & Potential at San Francisco City Hall
The International Museum of Women and the San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery's Art at City Hall program are thrilled to announce that Picturing Power & Potential: A Project of Economica is now online at IMOW.org and in a physical exhibition at San Francisco City Hall.
Picturing Power & Potential is the latest special project of Economica: Women and the Global Economy, and features photographs of women around the world exercising their power as change-agents in the global economy. We received hundreds of images from artists around the world, and after a rigorous selection process, the jury chose 55 works from 20 global photographers to be displayed at IMOW.org and in a physical exhibition at San Francisco City Hall.
Event Details: If you're in the Bay Area, be sure to visit Picturing Power & Potential at San Francisco City Hall, located at 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place in the Civic Center. The exhibition will be on view on the ground floor of City Hall June 15 to August 27, 2010. Viewing hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is free.
