Elizabeth L. Colton, Board Chair
Elizabeth is the driving force behind the International Museum of Women, whose mission is to value the lives of women around the world by amplifying the voices of women through history, the arts and cultural programs that educate, create dialogue, build community, and inspire action. As Board Chair, a position she has held since 1998, she has provided the leadership to create and develop this visionary institution. Elizabeth is a devoted advocate for and philanthropist to women's causes, human rights issues, the arts and political campaigns. She is a member of Emily's List Majority Council and the International Women's Forum. A former member of the Board of Trustees of Emma Willard School in Troy, New York, she now serves on the Campaign Executive Committee. She is on the Women's Leadership Board at the Kennedy School at Harvard University, and the board at Lykes Bros. Inc., a Florida-based agricultural industry corporation. Elizabeth graduated from Florida State University with a BA in Sociology.

Cynthia Ann Eisenberg, Vice Chair
Cindy brings the rare combination of an expertise in finance, investments, and business with a demonstrated passion for and involvement in humanitarian causes. As a Certified Public Accountant, she was one of the first women to achieve partnership in Arthur Andersen, LLP while the firm enjoyed unprecedented public regard. Cindy is the cofounder of Community Bank Investors, an investment hedge fund. She currently devotes her energies to environment and wildlife conservation and to working to ensure that women are allowed full entry into all aspects of work and society. An effective activist in politics, Cindy holds a BA from Colorado Women's College and an MS from Golden Gate University.

Denise Allen, Treasurer
Denise has worked in the healthcare industry for 20 years in both finance and operations, and currently works for the Triage Consulting Group. Previously, Denise held various positions with Catholic Healthcare West (CHW), including vice president of finance and senior vice president for systems design and clinical integration at Mercy Healthcare Sacramento. Prior to CHW, Denise was a CPA with Arthur Andersen & Co. where she was a manager in the healthcare division and worked on several hospital maximization projects.

Roxane Divol, Secretary
Roxane Divol is a Principal with the San Francisco office of McKinsey & Company, where she has become a core member of the High Tech Practice. She also leads McKinsey & Company's Marketing and Sales Practice on the West Coast and created their Marketing ROI service line for B2B companies. She is an active volunteer at the Lycée Français La Pérouse where two of her children attend and a mentor for the TED Senior Fellows Program. Roxane holds dual French and Colombian citizenship. She obtained an MBA from Insead with distinction, and a Masters in Engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique, France’s top engineering school and leading military academy where she majored in Chemistry and Economics. As an Officer, Roxane served in the French Air Force and was assigned to NATO’s Group for Aerospace Research and Development.

Elizabeth Buse
Elizabeth is the global head of product for Visa Inc., with responsibility for all aspects of product strategy and development in consumer and business products, as well as platform development and commercial information management. She is also accountable for the global interoperability of Visa’s products and services; developing new channel solutions and technology support; building alliances and solutions for new products, technologies, platforms and market segment penetration; and product analytics. Previously, Buse was executive vice president of product development and management for Visa U.S.A., where she was responsible for the product development cycle - research, product innovation, new product development and product deployment - and for managing Visa U.S.A.’s consumer, small business and commercial products. Prior to joining Visa U.S.A. in 1998, she served as vice president of strategic initiatives for the Electronic Funds Division of First Data Corporation (FDC). Before FDC, Buse was a senior engagement manager at Windermere Associates, a management consulting firm focused on developing strategies for corporations facing intensely competitive industries. Buse received her M.B.A. from the Haas School at the University of California, Berkeley. She was a graduate fellow in Spanish linguistics at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain. She received her B.A. in Spanish linguistics from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Mary Cranston
Mary, an outstanding litigator and community leader in San Francisco, brings international expertise in litigation, intellectual property technology, energy, and capital markets / finance. As firm chair of Pillsbury Winthrop LLP, an international law firm with 16 offices and over 700 attorneys worldwide, Mary litigates complex class action cases. She has litigated over 300 class actions in state and federal courts and is an expert on class action procedural and trial issues. Mary's substantive expertise also includes counseling and litigation in the areas of antitrust, securities and regulated industries. She has been bestowed with a number of industry and community distinctions, including the Stanford Associates Award for distinguished service and the Bar Association Award of Merit. She has also been named one of the 100 Most Influential Lawyers in California (Los Angeles Daily Journal), 3000 Highly Recommended Trial Lawyers by Global Counsel, 50 Most Influential Business Women in the Bay Area by the San Francisco Business Times, and 100 Most Influential Lawyers in America by the National Law Journal. She is a fellow of the American College of Trail Lawyers, has served as an officer of the ABA Antitrust Section and is a past chair of the Antitrust and Trade Regulation Section of the California State Bar. Mary received her JD from Stanford Law School, an MA from UCLA and a BA from Stanford University.

Anette L. Harris
Anette L. Harris is currently a member of the Board of Governors of the San Francisco Symphony, where she serves on the Youth Orchestra, Committee on Governors and Planned Giving Committees. During her five years as a member of the Board she also served as Co-chair and Honorary Co-chair of the San Francisco Symphony’s signature fundraising event, the Black and White Ball. Ms. Harris remains an Associate member of the San Francisco League where she was elected Vice President of Education during her active membership (with emphasis on the Youth Orchestra and Concerts for Kids.) Anette L. Harris earned a Bachelors of Arts degree with honors from the University of Dallas and a Master of Arts degree from Boston College. In 1996 she was awarded a Certificate of Completion of the Executive Program in Strategy and Organization by the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. She is a native of Houston, Texas, has traveled extensively throughout the world and is the spouse of Marc L. Loupe’, CFO of North America for Sage Software. Professionally, she was the principle and owner of Loupe’& Associate, a public relations firm in San Francisco for 20 years.

Naureen Hassan
Naureen is senior vice president of the Client Relationship Support group for Schwab Investor Services. She assumed her current role in July 2007 after four years of increasing responsibility for strategic planning across Schwab. Before joining Schwab Investor Services, Naureen held various leadership positions within Schwab Institutional including heading the strategy team to promote business growth and set overall strategic direction, and serving as vice president of sales support in charge of core sales operating functions. Prior to this, she was a member of Schwab’s Corporate Strategy group, where she played a key role in leading the company’s 2004 turnaround effort by working on the branch network redesign, rollout of relationship practices, and development of phone-based relationship sales teams. Naureen earned a bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Princeton University and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Patricia E. Martel
Pat is the city manager of Daly City, California. During more than 25 years working in local government, Pat has held executive management positions with several California municipalities including the cities of Inglewood, South San Francisco and Daly City where she previously served as the assistant city manager from 1995-2001. In 2001, she was appointed by San Francisco Mayor Willie L. Brown to serve as the general manager of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission with responsibility for managing the Hetch Hetchy water delivery system that serves 2.4 million people in the San Francisco Bay Area, in addition to the sewer and power systems serving the City and County of San Francisco. The San Francisco Business Times acknowledged Pat's professional accomplishments in 2003 by naming her one of the 100 Most Influential Business Women in the Bay Area. In 2002, she was also cited among the Top 100 Women Business Leaders in the Bay Area by the business journal.

Bernita McTernan
Bernita has served Catholic Healthcare West for 28 years in a variety of leadership capacities. She is currently responsible for Sponsorship, Mission Integration, Advocacy, Ethics/Justice, Ecology, Community Benefit and Philanthropy for CHW. She directs the system-wide initiatives for mission services and community benefit programs involving CHW's religious sponsors and ensures that the CHW mission and values are integrated into all aspects of the organization. She is the key liaison to the religious communities that co-sponsor CHW, local bishops, other Catholic health care systems and professional organizations and she directs orientation programs for corporate members, board members, physician leaders and management throughout the system.

Jennifer Siebel Newsom
Jennifer, an actor and producer, is the national spokesperson for Women's Independent Cinema, an independent film subscription service supporting women filmmakers and those who explore the female experience through film. She formed Girls' Club Entertainment, LLC as an umbrella entertainment company to develop and produce independent films with strong social, political, and cultural significance, focused primarily on women. Jennifer has performed in numerous television shows, as well as studio and independent films. Several of her indies have screened at Cannes and Toronto film festivals, among others, and the majority have been winning awards on the international film festival circuit. Jennifer has worked and traveled throughout Africa, Latin America and Europe on assignments with Conservation International, a global environmental agency. She graduated with honors from Stanford University and has an MBA from Stanford Business School.

Karen Offen, PhD
Karen is an historian and independent scholar at the Clayman Institute for Gender Research, Stanford University. She holds a doctorate in modern and contemporary history from Stanford University. She is a founding officer of the International Federation for Research in Women's History and is past president of the Western Association of Women Historians. She has authored and co-edited many books, including Globalizing Feminisms 1789-1945 (2010) and has published many articles in French and comparative European history. The focus of her writings has been on the history of women, gender, and feminism from a political perspective. She has received fellowships from the Fulbright Program, the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Rockefeller Foundation, and the John Simon Guggenheim Foundation. Her current projects concern international women's studies and exhibition development for the Museum. In May 2004, the University of Idaho awarded her an honorary doctorate for her contributions to the advancement of women's history. She writes Clio Talks Back, the International Museum of Women's history blog.

Jennifer Redington
Jennifer has been a manager of IT systems and projects at Kaiser Foundation Health Plan since 2005, providing statewide application support and leadership. Most recently, she has lead a regional technology strategy and acquisition project for Kaiser’s regional Continuing Care organization. Previously she worked as a senior consultant at Ernst & Young, LLP. Jennifer’s charitable work includes a run as pro bono project manager for the Taproot Foundation, which strengthens nonprofits by engaging business professionals in service, and a current role providing assistance to OmniMed/Center for Global Service. Jennifer has a BS in Business Administration from Duquesne University.

Nancy Unobskey
A licensed clinical social worker, Nancy was active in the field throughout the United States for 40 years. During that time, she primarily focused on adoption, foster care, school social work and outpatient mental health. Most recently, she is known for her cutting-edge programs for senior women. In 1995, former Mayor Frank Jordan proclaimed November 13 as Nancy Unobskey Day in San Francisco as a tribute for her work as a founder of both Kids' Turn and Rally--nonprofit organizations designed to ease the pain of separation and divorce for children. In addition, Nancy was recognized for her leadership of Enterprise for High School Students where as president she expanded the scale, scope, and success of the organization, as well as the diversity of those served. Nancy has always been active in programs affecting women's health and has served on the Board of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Research and Education Foundation at UCSF for 20 years, during which time she was a founder of Women's Health 2020. Currently, she is active on the board of directors of the YMCA Association of San Francisco, which is responsible for 15 YMCAs in the San Francisco Bay Area. A graduate of Goucher College, Nancy majored in history and then received a master's degree in social work from Wayne State University.

N. Leigh Wasson
Leigh has worked in the financial services business for 22 years in client development and relationship management positions in the US, Australia and the UK. Most recently, Leigh was Regional Managing Director of Northern California for Citi Private Bank. In this role, Leigh’s responsibilities included expanding and deepening the Private Bank's presence in Northern California and coordinating the team of bankers and specialists focused on providing a solutions oriented approach to the wealth management needs of high net worth individuals and families. Before joining Citi, Leigh worked for Bessemer Trust in San Francisco. Prior to Bessemer, Leigh spent 16 years at JP Morgan with both the private bank and the institutional investment management division, where her various roles included regional manager, relationship officer, emerging markets client portfolio manager, and equity research assistant analyst. Her career with J.P. Morgan included assignments in Australia and London, in addition to New York, San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Leigh has a BBA in finance from The University of Texas and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to being on the board of the International Museum of Women, Leigh is a volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club of East Palo Alto where she facilitates a youth leadership and empowerment program. She is on the Board of Youth Business America, an organization that promotes and supports entrepreneurship and self employment for 18-35 year olds, and she is member of the Advisory Board of the Stanford Social Innovation Review, the signature publication of the Center for Social Innovation at Stanford. Leigh has been a member of the Women's Leadership Board, John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University since 2003 and was development chair from 2004-2007. Additionally, Leigh is a member of the Silicon Valley Advisory Board of Astia and serves on the Education Committee of the San Francisco Symphony.
